Welcome to Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Birmingham Chapter.
The Birmingham Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated was organized by Mrs. Marguerite W. Stewart and became a Provisional Chapter on November 7,1954. It was chartered on September 30, 1955. The Chapter uses the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce’s official designation of metropolitan area, in its observance of chapter boundaries.
We have a rich and illustrious history since being established as the sixth chapter in the Southeastern region. Service to the community has been paramount for the chapter. Significant contributions have been made to the many organizations in resent years and have included Birmingham YWCA, Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, Children’s Village, and many others.
The Birmingham Chapter continues to thrive through its commitment to promoting outstanding programming, providing wonderful service to the community and maintaining its focus on enriching the lives of children and familities.
